If Reed Richards has autism, Jessica Jones and Captain America have PTSD, Daredevil has depression, Hulk has DID, Iron Man has alcoholism, Captain Marvel has ADHD and Moon Knight has schizophrenia, why are they heroes? Wouldn't they work better as dangerous freaks for normal heroes to fight? Why are the heroes in the Marvel U such weirdos compared to DC?

So you’re saying that people with autism, PTSD, depression, DID, alcoholism, ADAH or schizophrenia can’t be heroes? Pretty compassionate view there.

And yet you still didn’t stop Avengers Undercover from saying the very same thing.

Yeah, that is something of a black mark on that wonderful stance, since it’s core question was “Will these mentally unstable people turn evil!?”   Implicitly because of their mental problems.  Sure, only one of them did, but that it was used as a method to attract readers is just above using their deaths to attract readers in terms of overall vileness.

If only because living allows characters to grow and change, and death … ends things.
